Elizabeth Lundberg is a Ph.D. candidate in English at the University of Iowa. Her interests include affect and embodiment in post-45 North American science fiction, queer theory, posthumanism, and time travel. Her dissertation examines narrative strategies that cultivate empathy and gain reader consent and complicity surrounding individual and structural acts of interpenetration.
Daryl Ritchot is a PhD student at the University of British Columbia Okanagan. His research interests include popular music, fandom studies, aesthetics, children’s and young adult literature, Bollywood, music videos and steampunk. His dissertation will look at the use of science fiction tropes within twenty-first century music videos.
